Perfect family, beautiful new home, but they’re not alone…

Statement Of Intent

I think I would be a good person to write and produce this film as I feel I have the ideas to produce a good quality horror movie.

Storyline

A teenage girl and her family move into a new home in a strange village surrounded by a forest, the girl and her parents and her little sister have only been living in their new home a few days when it becomes clear to the family that they are not the only people living in the house. Strange things start to happen and it is made clear by the presence that the family is not wanted in the house.

The girl becomes obsessed with what her and her family are sharing their new home with, she does her research into what other knew about her house but every story was different and nothing would prepare her for what was about to happen.

The girl then one day goes down stairs into the basement of the house to find a loose wood panel in the flooring, she lifts it up to find a box, and she opens it and inside it contains personal belongings from 50 years before. She finds newspaper articles of a young girl’s murder, this becomes too much for the girl and she passes out.

When the girl wakes up, she feels different, not quite herself, so she takes herself to bed thinking she’s not well. She makes up the next morning and she is not herself, she has been possessed by the little girl from the newspaper articles, the same little girl that had been there all along, the little girl who was murdered in that very house.

The mystery of the girl’s death remains a mystery to the girl’s family until that day when the girl starts the rein act what happened those 50 years before, and the worst part being, she was targeting her little sister to play the part of the murdered little girl.

Her family have to section the girl to keep their family safe, but is it too late?

The family are then sent on a mission to solve the mystery of the little girl’s murder to save their family and to move away. They do more research into the murder of the little girl and they find how it isn’t solved and nobody was ever caught. They find more and more evidence that leads to this one girl, the murdered girl’s older sister.

As the family solve the mystery and the woman is proved guilty of her sister murder, the girl’s spirit is able to move on and the family are able to move on and move away from the village.
